Koos’ ambition is to make the world better by design. Over the last years, we’ve had the opportunity to serve many countries from our Amsterdam and Lisbon offices. Germany has huge ambitions and opportunities when it comes to digitalisation, and innovation in general. From now on, we will make Germany just a little bit more customer-oriented. We’re happy to announce that we’ve opened a new office in Berlin, located in a beautiful old factory building in Kreuzberg.

Why Berlin?

Opening an office in Berlin and building a local team that truly understands the German culture and language will help us to serve the German market even better.

— Robbert-Jan van Oeveren Co-founder of Koos Service Design

The Berlin office will be headed by Jeroen Otte, who worked at our Amsterdam office for four years, till 2019. Since then, he has been living in Berlin, where he worked at IXDS, a design agency bought by PwC in 2020.

Koos is a strategic design agency for impactful innovation. A team of UX designers, strategists, and service designers is dedicated to building better businesses by improving customer experiences, launching digital products, and executing strategic innovation projects. A well-known project of Koos is the CoronaCheck app, which was downloaded by 16 million people and has been used millions of times during the Corona pandemic.

Berlin is already the third European city with a Koos office. Koos’ story began in Amsterdam in 2009 when fellow students Jules Prick and Robbert-Jan van Oeveren opened their first office. Then in 2017, the company expanded to Lisbon, Portugal. Today, Koos consists of more than 50 people, and we have big ambitions. Get ready to see more of Koos in Germany in the coming weeks and months.

Interesting in working with Koos in Germany?
