About the coach
Astrid den Bosch – our true visual thinking enthusiast combines it with Service Design to simplify complexity and communicate better.
Why this topic?
Besides the fact that it is fun, our brains are wired in such a way that we remember and understand visuals way better than documents full of text. Therefore, Visual Thinking is a powerful tool that helps you to communicate your ideas more effectively. Additionally, it helps you and your colleagues to be more concrete when talking about ideas or innovations.
By understanding and practicing the basics of Visual Thinking, you will be able to benefit from this skill during your meetings or projects.
What will be covered in this Learn & Lunch?
In this Learn & Lunch, we will practice the basics of Visual Thinking:
- Discover how to create drawings with basic shapes
- Practice the building blocks useful in every innovation of service design projects: People, emotions, and touchpoints.
In addition, we will talk about how to practice this in your daily routines and how to create your own visual library, which you can use in your meetings or projects.
PS: This Learn & Lunch is suitable for everyone and does not require a certain level of drawing skills!
What will be the key learnings?
Everyone can draw! It’s just a matter of putting in the time and effort.
It all starts with simple shapes. You don’t have to draw a Mona Lisa. Simple shapes will get you far!
Come to this Learn & Lunch session and learn how to quickly draw people, emotions, and objects.
